Our Moments
Education 360+ Initiative uses advocacy to strengthen systems that protect and promote girls’ right to education. We advocate for better policies and supportive environments for vulnerable girls, including teenage mothers returning to school. The initiative addresses barriers such as gender-based violence, child marriage, and teenage pregnancy while promoting safe, inclusive, and girl-friendly learning environments. Through this 360-degree approach, Hakizetu helps girls in Mwanza, Geita, Mara, and Kagera stay in school, learn, succeed, and shape their future.

Hakizetu recognizes that lasting change cannot be achieved through individual support alone. We advocate for education systems, policies, schools, and communities that respond to the realities of vulnerable children, girls, children with disabilities, teenage mothers, and young people living in underserved communities. Our advocacy focuses on ensuring that every learner has an equal opportunity to access quality education and complete their studies in an environment that is safe, inclusive, supportive, and free from violence and discrimination.

For aspiring entrepreneurs, Hakizetu conducts impactful Business Incubation programs. Over 300 young women and girls benefit annually from a comprehensive six-month program that covers skills development, business mentorship, and practical training. Our commitment extends to linking these entrepreneurs with Hakizetu Micro-finance, offering low-interest financial support without collateral, repaid over a generous 36-month period.
Hakizetu doesn’t just stop at local impact, we strive to elevate our beneficiaries on a global scale. During the business incubation period, participants are equipped with skills in financial management, marketing, communication, digital opportunities, and interpersonal relations. We actively facilitate connections with potential customers, both locally and internationally, and link them with financial institutions for further support.
