Amani Girls Home (AGH) works with the community to enable adolescent girls and young mothers to have happy, successful lives. In a society where, in general, girls and young mothers are overlooked or disregarded, they feel it is of utmost importance to bring the issues of female rights and recognition to the fore and to do all in their power to educate, empower, and protect these beautiful, invaluable members of society.


TFSR Cymru aims to improve the lives of African artisans & families by providing them with quality refurbished recycled hand tools & training.
TOOLS FOR SELF RELIANCE groups collect old and unwanted hand tools and sewing machines from all over the UK. They clean repair and sharpen them, and send tool kits and sewing machines to grass roots community groups in Tanzania.
TFSR have been supporting Hakizetu Economic Empowerment programs through providing sewing machine since 2016.


The Open Society Initiative for Eastern Africa (OSIEA) was founded in 2005 as a part of the global Open Society Foundations (OSF) network. OSIEA’s vision is ‘a just, inclusive and vibrant Eastern Africa where all people live in dignity, equality and participate meaningfully in society’.
